Safe Sitter
with Erin Olmstead
Safe Sitter Course is designed to prepare students ages 11-13 to be safe when they're home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting.
THIS CLASS IS LOCATED IN NORWAY, MAINE - IN PERSON
The Instructor-led class is filled with fun games and role-playing exercises. Students even get to use manikins to practice rescue skills like choking rescue and CPR!
This nationally acclaimed program developed by Dr. Patricia Keener focuses on safety skills, child care skills, first aid & rescue skills, and life & business skills.
Students are asked to pack a lunch, snacks and drinks will be provided. All participants are required to review self-screening questions for COVID-19 and remain masked during class.

Preparing for Birth and Feeding Your Baby
with Jaime Johnson and Erin Olmstead
Join us for a 2-hour Preparing for Birth and Feeding Your Baby Class, led by a Labor & Delivery Nurse/Lactation Consultant and the Perinatal Outreach Education Coordinator. Recommended for all first-time pregnant patients and their birth partners; this class is designed to provide you and your labor partner with the information, skills and resources to prepare you for the birth of your baby.

The class will be informal focusing on:

- Stages of Labor
- Vaginal & Surgical Deliveries
- Terminology
- Comfort Measures
- Equipment Review
- Medications and Interventions
- Feeding Your Baby
- Watching Educational Videos
- And More!

Infant CPR for Parents, Grandparents and Older Siblings with Erin Olmstead

Join us for an infant CPR course to gain knowledge in how to perform CPR and choking rescue of an infant up to 1 year of age. This course will be provided by in-person instructor, video and hands-on practice.
THIS CLASS IS LOCATED IN NORWAY, MAINE - IN PERSON
Class is scheduled for an estimated 1 hour. Any caregiver is welcome to join, parents, siblings, grandparents, friends, etc.
